The Pinch VFD received a $6,000 grant from the TC Energy Foundation for the purchase of 3 new multi gas meters. The purchase of these meters will assist firefighters in identifying the presence of hazardous gases which are invisible and usually odorless. Without the use of these meters the gases may otherwise go undetected. The meters purchased are the MultiRAE Lite 4 gas meter at a cost of $2,000 each. Without the assistance of the TC Energy Foundation this purchase would not have been possible.
