Shortly after 2:30 pm, Indian Creek Road had to be shut down due to a school bus accidnet. The bus had approximatly 60 children and teachers aboard when it left the roadway and struck the hill side. Upon arrival Engine 23 and Rescue 2 crews began assessing for injuries and fluid leakage. A few of the children needed to be transported to a local hospital for further evaluation, and the remaining children were transferred to another bus and taken to Pinch Elementary. None of the injuries were life threatning.
