To find a job, other than the one that I have, that I enjoy and also allows me the capability to grow within the fire dept. and become a valuable asset to my community and also my work.

This has to be the hardest question to answer! So here we go. The main reason is when I joined the military, I got a taste of firefighting, then, when I went to school for aviation I received more training for firefighting, so I figured I should quit toying with the idea of joining the fire dept. and just do it.

Fishing, hiking, boating, aircraft building, wood working, reading, working with computers, horseback riding, farming, camping, road trips, and lastly flying.

Where else can you find a group of people who other than risk their lives for people that they don't know and chances are might never see again. Also look at that same person and regard them and many others not only as a friend but also as their family and the fact that being part of the fire dept. allows me to protect my home and community and bring to me an immense amount of pride and joy.
