Career Plans

To continue my career as a FF/Medic.

Why did you join the fire department?

I joined back in 2004 because I have been raised that if you can help people then you should. I have found it to be the most rewarding decision of my life. You couldn't ask for a better trained crews, top end equipment, and a better group of Brothers and Sisters by fire.

What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of the fire department?

Just ask me.

What do you like best about being part of the fire department?

I would have to say the crews and the rewarding feeling when you help someone, oh yeah have big trucks with lights and sirens does still get the the little boy inside me, and the ladies love a man who carries an axe and wears the uniform.

What is your most memorable incident?

My most memorable incident... As far as a good one it would have to be my first fire school, which was a experience like no other, it's one of those things that you just have to be there. Now as far as memorable moments on the fire department go as you may or may not know, and something that many people either forget or overlook, in our line of duty we see and experience the worst and best moments of humanity, and to be perfectly honest you can go ask any FD/EMS personnel and while we can tell you about good times and stuff, no calls stand out in our minds more then the ones that can literally bring the human soul to the edge of breaking. I won't list the one that stands out in my mind the most, it is in my mind every night, so if you do dare to hear it I will tell you that it is NOT for the faint of heart and you will just have to ask me in person.
