| Approximately 10:00pm July 16,2010 PVFD was toned out to resond to an auto accident with injuries in the area of Maddox Lane and New Hope Rd. Units from the main and sub stations marked en route almost immediately upon alert. Rescue 2 was first on scene reporting single vehicle accident, one passenger truck over an embankment, the truck had struck the telephone pole and was being supported by the poles wire. Upon survey of the scene and vehicle there was no sign of a driver. The accident is being investigated by the Kanawha County sherrif"s office. |
