Neighbors Make a Fiery Discovery

On 11/21 at 00:18 hrs. Pinch Vol. Fire Department was alerted to a reported Structure Fire in the 5000 block of Elk River Rd. South. Units quickly responded and arrived on scene to find a single story residence that was fully engulfed in fire. Neighbors told fire department members that no one was home at the time of the fire and no cars were present in the driveway. Crews quickly went to work deploying hand lines and securing a water source and they began battling the blaze.

Crews remained on scene for approx. 3 hours while the blaze was control and extinguished. No injuries were reported throughout the duration of the incident and all units were able to return to service without delay.
