Rainy Day Fire

On Ma 14th at 1023 hrs. Pinch Fire Department was alerted to a reported working structure fire in the area of Exxon in Big Chimney. Squad 2 and Engine 22 responded within minutes with a total of 7 members. Squad 2 arrived on scene to find a single wide trailer fully involved with fire. Engine 22 established a water supply via hydrant and two (2) 1 3/4 hand-lines were deployed allowing crews to begin extinguishing the blaze.

Clendenin and Frame Fire Department's also responded as automatic mutual aid for that area and assisted Pinch Fire Department crews with extinguishment and overhaul of the structure.

Crews found that the structure was actively occupied however no one was home at the time of the fire. The structure was deemed a total loss with no injuries reported throughout the entire incident. There is no word as of the cause of the fire at this time.
