This week we spotlight our very own Lt. Duane Legg. Duane started is the fire service in 1992 at the Clay Vol. Fire Department in Clay, WV. In 1998, Duane moved to Virginia Beach and became a Paramedic for AMR Ambulance Service. Duane returned to West Virginia and joined Pinch Fire Department in 2011. Duane currently serves as a Lieutenant for the Big Chimney sub station in addition to being the President for our Board of Directors'.

Duane is currently employed with Acosta Sales & Marketing as a Distribution Account Manager. Duane's culinary skills are greatly appreciated around the fire station and is often the unseen face in the kitchen at our local community events, Duane currently holds a BA from Johnson & Wales University along with a MA from Virginia Tech all in Culinary and Business.

Along with all our members, Pinch Fire is extremely proud and honored to have Lt. Legg on our department. Duane has played an instrumental role in our multiple fundraising events including: Pinch Carnival, Hootenananny in the Hills, and the Five Alarm Gun Bash.
