This week's Member Spot Light is someone who is near and dear to all of us at Pinch Vol. Fire Department. Retired Chief Bill Allen joined the fire department in 1958, and is an original charter member. Chief Allen worked his way up the ranks and was made chief of the department in 1974 and held that position until 1999. During these times Chief Allen along with his group of firefighters accomplished so many things to make the fire department what it is today.

Chief Allen retired from the telephone company where he served as a repairman for the entire Capitol complex in downtown Charleston, WV. Bill volunteers at a local food pantry in the Pinch area and is a very active in his local church as well. Along with being actively involved in the community Chief Allen always has time for the fire department and continues to be a part of our organization.

We Spot Light Retired Chief Bill Allen this week and we also say Thank You for the years of dedicated service you gave to the Pinch Vol. Fire Department.
