On 12/11 at 1921 hours, Pinch Fire Department was alerted to a reported structure fire on Garth Dr. off of Elk River Rd North. Crews responded within minutes to find a single story residential dwelling with smoke and fire showing from the exterior. Crews immediately went to work establishing a secure water source, extinguishing the blaze, and performing overhaul. Crews from Clendenin and Frame Fire Department's also responded as an automatic mutual aid.

No injuries were reported throughout the duration of the incident. The structure was deemed a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, however the fire appears to have started in the kitchen.
