Late night total loss fire

On 04/19 Pinch Fire Dept was dispatched to a reported fully involved structure fire in the 600 block of Hope Acres Rd in Pinch. Engine 22 was the first arriving unit on scene and reported two (2) separate structures both fully involved at the time of arrival. Crews went to work quickly and began exterior extinguishment operations. Engine 23 was able to establish a hydrant water source and supply water to Engine 22. Crews spent approx. 3 hours extinguishing the blaze and performing overhaul. Occupants of the structures were not home at the time the blaze started. Both structures were a total loss and no injuries were reported. Clendenin Fire Dept. and Frame Fire Dept. were also dispatched to assist.
