| At approximately 7:05 on the morning of the 22 of January, the Pinch Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the I-79 Elkview exit for a two car motor vehicle crash with possible injuries. Engine 23 and Utility 26 handled the called. Utility 26 was the first unit on scene and started to assess patients. Engine 23 arrived on scene shortly after. One patient was extricated using the "jaws of life" and sent to the local trauma facility for evaluation. Crews cleared the call after a short time on scene. |
