| On Sunday night, January 29th, 2012 the Pinch Fire Department was dispatched to respond to #1 Short Track Lane, for a possible trailer fire. Mutual aid was dispatched from neighboring Clendenin (St. 1), and Frame (St. 34). As units were arriving, reports were received that it was a "working fire" and the trailer was possibly fully involved. Engine 23 was first to arrive and made a quick knock down on the fire. Engine 21 assisted with fire attack, while Engine 22 secured a secondary water source from a nearby creek. Due to the quick knock down by the first in crews time on scene was limited to only about 1 hour. We would like to thank CVFD and FVFD for their help. |
