Tonight was the first board meeting of the year and it's been an eventful one with ups and downs.

During tonight's regularly scheduled Board Meeting it was announced that one of our members was moving out of our Fire District. Lt. Patrick Clark announced this evening that he will be moving out of our district to Shinnston, WV. Patrick has been with Pinch VFD for 9 years and has served this department with the pride, serving as Chairman for Firee Prevention and Social Media Comittees as well as Public Information Officer. Patrick is remaining as an associate member. We would like to wish Patrick the best of luck as he starts this new chapter in his life. From all of us at Pinch VFD you will be greatly missed!

Last, but certainly not least, as a department, we want to congratulate FF John Thaxton on his promotion to Deputy Chief. John's commitment to this department and our community is unmatched and we are proud to have a pillar of our community serve on our department.
