In the evening hours of Wednesday, December 7th (Pearl Harbor Day) Pinch VFD units were dispatched for a motor vehicle crash with reported injuries and entrapment. Metro 911 advised they were receiving reports of a pick-up and car, head-on collision, with heavy entrapment in both vehicles. With the report of heavy entrapment in two separate vehicles, Rescue 2 requested Charleston Fire Rescue 482 for assistance. As units arrived the vehicles were stabilized and patient care and extrication began. The driver's of both vehicles were extricated, packaged, and transported to CAMC-General Hospital for further evaluation. Slick roads are believed to have played a role in this accident.
